Hi Marcia! What a great idea you had about getting some samples of pretein powders/drinks before you spent all that $$ and hated them! Thank you so much for posting that on the messageboard or I would have never thought of it! My surgery is in 11 days and I am soooo antsy! Hello Marcia~~~It's a good idea to start checking out protein drinks before surgery. This way you will have one the you can enjoy. I just love Real Meals, they taste great and have protein and lots of added vitiams. The website is www.protein-solution.com Good Luck!!

Marcia ~ Sorry to hear things are so tough for you right now. I have a friend who has been researching WLS with me this past few months. We worked together and just before Christmas her position was eliminated due to down-sizing. How hopeless she also feels. Glad to be out of the stressful job, but now facing a whole new stress. She has applied for disability due to her weight and fibromyalgia while she tries to figure out if anyone else will hire her and if she will be able to perform the duties of any other job. And now, of course, the prospect of surgery with insurance to run out soon is "on hold". Through my friend, I can certainly relate to your position. I am so sorry, but if you are the "praying type" I say put it all in the hands of the Lord and hope that he will guide you through this. Best wishes ~ take care.

Hey, Marcia! Congrats on your approval! I'd jump up and down too, but I'd pull at my staples (Lap RNY 1/6/03). And give myself two black eyes. I'd be a mess. Anyway, I read your profile, and you are a hoot! Keep writing and best wishes to you in lining up your 'ducks'! It's amazing how quickly they go once the first falls in the row!
