The Journey is getting easier

It's been a little over a month since my surgery and dealing with the post op infection.  I am getting much better and becoming a little more happy with my life.  I have a wound vacuum that has been placed to help heal and it is working well. The medical advisers say it will probably be 3 or more weeks before I can have it removed, but I am getting stronger each day and I am back to work about 5 to 6 hours a day, which makes me feel much better.
I am still learning what I can and can not tolerate as far as food.  I still can not eat very much at one time which is a good thing because I am loosing weight quickly. 
I still can not say that I am happy I had this done but I am glad that I am healing and I am looking forward to feeling somewhat normal again.
