"My fist impression of Dr Ihde was that he was very down to earth and that he had a conversation with me. He didn't talk at me and then hurry from the room. He didn't try to change my mind about what i wanted to do. He openly presented all options, their benefits and drawbacks and then let me make my decision and supported that.rnrnDr Ihde's office staff is very knowledgeable and helpful but they feel a little impersonal...except for Kim. She's great!rnrnPart of what impressed me with this doctor is the amount of pre-surgery work he does to make sure that you are prepared for the lifestyle change that goes along with it and the testing he does to make sure you're physically ok to have the surgery. You can tell he's really trying to make sure your journey is successful.rnrnThe only thing I've not been comfortable with is the amount of visits required with additional people. My situation is a little different in that I've done 6 months of nutritional counseling through True Results along with the actual counselor and the phsych evaluations prior to coming to his office. I feel like it's redundant and a waste of my time, mine and my employers money to make me do these visits all over again just so that they're with his people. I don't really see this as a negative about Dr Ihde because if I had begun with him this would have all been fine."
