"I first me Dr. Doraiswamy on July of 2008 in the emergency room. He was very comforting and let me know that I would need to have my Gallbladder and my appendix removed. He was awesome kept me on pain meds all night the next morning came in to see me and did my surgery an hour later. I went to see him after my surgery and found out he was a bariatric surgeon so I discussed with him at that time about weight loss surgery. I waited for my primary doctor to start submitting paperwork. Again I saw Dr. Doraiswamy in November of 2009 because of a hernia I had. He once again operated on me and repaired my hernia. He remembered me and again spoke to me about having weight loss surgery. After jumping through many hoops, here I am 10 days from surgery. Everyone on his staff is very supportive from his nurses, nutritionist, to his front office staff. Doctor Doraiswamy is more than a doctor, he treats you like family and I would strongly recommend him to everyone. This is a journey that I know he is happy to share with me and make possible."
