Mayra, Well the big day is just a couple of days away. I know you must be excited and nervous at the same time. I wish you the best on your surgery and your recovery. Please keep us updated. We really care how you are doing. BTW I would love to hear you sing!! Best wishes Debbie

November 9, 2005, I finally got all the appointments needed to have my surgery, I will be getting , my support meeting on the 15 of November, and after that I will get to see my Nutricionist, and the evalutation soon after. This test, they said, it will last 4 hours. I also, have squedule my psycological evaluation in Dicember 8, and that will put me on the list to have surgery. I hope is soon , I cant wait, to have this done, doing something for my self at last. I just want to be healthy again, I have been up to 287 lb. With the adkins diet I lost 84 lbs, 3 years ago, now I am back to 267lb. I is so hard, to be able to maintain I need help. And I think this is the right thing for me. I am diabetic, high blood presure, colesterol, neuropathy diabetic, I take 16 pills every day, and if you see me you will think I am Ok, I want to stop all this pills and be healthy, if at 46 I take 16 pills a day, how many they will be at 70 if I get to that age. I need to do this now. For my self, and my family. They are scared, for me to do this, but I tell them if I do not do this, I still will be dying soon. I will let every one know when my appointments are. God Bless.
