I just can not wait to have it done.  I am planing to keep busy the next two days so I don't think about it and get nerves.  I was getting nerves because friday was my last day at work and I had to get everything done.  On Wed I developed hives and don't know if they were from nerves or something I ate.  I winded up in the ER for about 2 hours and they gave me some allergey meds and benadryl.  I took both of them until today but I think I am going to stop because I have not gotten any since yesterday.  Today I went shoping for some things I will need for the hospital and for after surgery.  I had a great time because I was with my best friend and my godson.  He is so cute.  Then we went to dinner at my parents house and most of my family was there with my cousin and her kids.  We had a BBQ and it was so much fun but I am so tired.  

Two more days and I will be on my way to the hospital.

So, this past Saturday I got a letter from the Dr's office telling me what I have to do before surgery.  The only think that I can see being a problem is getting a 2nd sleep apnea test.  I have the 2nd one scheduled for 8/16/07 but I am worried that they will postpone my surgery which is 8/28/07.  I hear so many different things.  People tell me you have to be on the CPAP machine for at least 300 hrs before surgery.  I don't even have the machine yet.  Surgery is in less then two weeks.  I call the doctors office but no one has called me back yet.  I am really worried and nerves.  I have my disablitiy and leave from work already approved and I really do not want to postpone it.  I will post again once I know more detail.  

By the way my manager was great about the news.  I just told her I am having surgery and she did not even want to know what for.  She was great.

So, today i got a call from my Dr's office and my insurance approved the surgery.  I have a confirmation number and everything.  Now the only thing I am scared about is telling my boss.  I want to tell her soon so I can fill out short tirm disability papers so I can get paid.  I am hoping to tell her tomorrow.  hopefully it will work out for me.

I am so happy today!!!  I called my doctors office and got a surgery date of 8/28/07.  My new birthdate.   I am so excited and can't stop talking about it.  I have also scheduled my pre-op class at Dr. Bertha's office.  It is a 3 hour class about what to expect.  They want you to bring someone with you.  I am bringing my mom because she wants to know about everything happening.  My family is really happy for me.  I just have to see if insurance will cover it.
