Well, here I am and my 6 months is behind me that my medical group required. I can't believe it. Everyone said time would fly and it did. On September 21, a Monday, I went to the final class. On Tuesday I took the certificate of completion to the referrel department and turned it in. That Thursday I was surprised when I found in my mailbox the letter of approval to see the surgeon finally. That was fast. So my appointment is October 7, at 2:00. Things are moving right along.

I finally got placed into the bariatric program through Facey. Originally I was slated to begin in June...ahh the horrors of waiting. But the nice girl in the education department made sure I was on a waiting list. She told me to call at the end of March...sooo...I called every dang week of March. I got a hold of her on wed and she was so happy to hear from me. She had her list out and was planning on calling me. I beat her to it. So I got into this round of classes and I start April 6th. Finally I am starting the journey. It feels real. This is the beginning of a new life. The butterfly is still in the cacoon...
