Melissa, I am so very sorry about Toto. I know how close you can become to your pet. I bought my first house pet last year and his name is Snowball. So I understand your loss. I pray your pain will be eased. Judy

Melissa-Ann, I am so sorry for your loss. After reading your profile I would have to say that you and your family gave Toto the best life you possibly could. You won't ever forget him and believe it or not he won't either. I once read a book to my son about death written my Maria Shriver and in it she talks about pet heaven. My son and I believe that pet heaven is right next to people heaven and during the day the pets hop the fence and go and play with loved ones all day long. So Toto is up there just having the time of his life and will be waiting for the day (a long time from now) that he can play with you and yours. Take Care, Marisa

I have a toy yorkie and a peek-a-poo. I love my dogs and I feel your pain. My peek-a-poo is 13 yrs. old and had degenerative arthritis and is on pain meds most of the time. (Vet says to wait it out that it is only a matter of time for her as well.) I feel so sad for you in the loss of your beloved Toto and I can truely say that I know what it is like taking care of a sick pet.
