Okay I finally thought I should probably make my page. So here goes nothing....
I am a single mom of two beautiful girls ages 3 and 9. I currenty work in correctcions as a LVN and love my job. I am working on getting my RN. As far as my weight , I have struggled with it since I was little. I come from a family of BIG people and I was bound to have some of the same problems. I have been thinking about surgery for years, I even thought about going to Mexico to have it; but, at the time I couldn't afford it. I just started the process in August through Kaiser. I was shocked to hear back from Bariatrics just a couple weeks after my referral was made. Now just a few short months later I am gettign ready to meet with the surgeon. I am excited but very nervous.
