HI My name is Nicole and I am a mother of a 2 boys who are 2 months , and 4 years old. I have been struggling with weigh for most of my life.I had given up hope , when a friend of mine had this procedure done. The results were amazing and then i learned about others I knew who had had it done with great success. I have sleep apnea, and was unaware of this until I had my sleep study. Diabetes runs in 90 percent of my family history.I decided that for my health and for the benifit of being around to see my sons grow. I thought it was in my best intrest to get this surgery done. I started the process in November of 2005. At that time My preapproval was sent to masshealth, but they denied my first attempt becasue they stated i needed to have my gall bladder out. But by the time i got the denial my gall bladder was already removed. I then decided to put my surgery on hold because of some real life things i had been going through and again started the process where i had left off in November.My pre approval was then sent out again, after the minimum wait of 6 months masshealth has requested for re applying. I recieved my pre approval at the begining of december my surgery date was April 23rd 2007.I can look forward to my new found self, and my new life!! The confidence and health I have gained is remarkable, I would do it over again in a heartbeat. I can now enjoy my life.If you walk with pourpose you will collide with destiny. Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't and believe that everything happens for a reason, If you get a chance take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
