"I met Dr Lourie at his monthly symposium. He is a soft spoken man. But passionate about his craft. He covered in detail the surgery, the risks, and I was impressed with the amount of information he covered. Most of the questions I had before I got there were answered during his presentation. I met with him for my consultation last week and he was even more impressive. I had 5 pages (front and back) of questions and he answered each and every one of them. He didnt make me feel rushed or seem like he had to hurry me along to get to another waiting patient. I appreciated that. Any apprehension I had about the surgery before is gone now. Linda, helped coordinate my pre-op testing and helped me understand the insurance web. I am now in the process of completing my pre-op testing and should have my surgery date by next month. I would like to say only one negative thing though, the magazine selection in his office was really sparse. (laughing)"
