Christine, My prayers are coming your way for you and your family. So sorry to hear of your uncle/godfather's passing, but he is now an Angel in Heaven watching from above. I lost my sister in Feb. and I felt the same way about trying to find comfort in food but I knew that wasn't the answer so I prayed for strength and God answered and I now take each day as it comes and know we are never alone. Take care and keep the faith.

Christine~ I want to tell you that I back you up one hundred per cent. My sister had the same problems with her daughter and I backed her up too. sometimes tough love is all kids really need to set them back on the right track. I know I would have been literally killed by my father if I had treated my step mom like you have been treated. Dont worry about what others say, you and your husband are the only one who has to live with this . No one pays your bills but you too, so no one has the right ot tell you how to live your life.
