Hi everyone Happy New Year! I will make this quick im onmy way to work. I appologize for not getting back to you all. I have 29 messages! lol 2007 was an incredible year for us. I had surgery in March I wear a size 10 still and I LOVE IT! I am 5'10 and don't wanna be too skinny
Gina and I had our commitment ceremony in Las Vegas me and the kids (the youngest ones) are moving to MA to be with Gina. My job transfer came through and I am feeling very very loved!

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii everyone I have 42 messages! lol Where do I begin????? I now weigh 196!! Yessssssssssss I have lost 80 pounds and 12 dress SIZES! I wear a size 10 now and pushing twords a size 8! Yesssss and THANK GOD im still here.
I had H.Pylori and was very very sick so I was on meds for a few weeks. I am ok now and can drink water and eat solid proteins finally :-) I don't have a appetite yet so I make myself eat.
Other then that I am here and full of life.
I am NOW engaged and my Fiance lives in MA so me and the kids are and will relocate out there to be with her
My life has changed 360 degrees! I feel so normal and somedays I still feel fat. This is a LIFELONG challenge. Thank You everyone for the love support and prayers.

Hot Damn I need to update lol. Hiiiiiiii everyoneeeee I have 21 messages and 7 friends request! I have updated my pictures and I hope that you all like them :-) I NOW weigh 243 pounds. I was 312 last year and surgery I weighed 276!!!!
I amnow wearing a size 16 pant and a size Lge shirt and jackets now. I have had surgery on March 13th and have lost 6 dress sizes! I went from a size 22 to a healthy looking size 16 pants! Yup I can't beilieve it a size 16! I have NEVER wore a size 16 let alone a size 14 jacket! I am smaller then my baby girl we were the same size clothes lol and my oldest daughter wears a size 14! Well there mama is on her way :-)
Thank You for those who have prayed for me myheart test was just FINE! I came through with flying colors. My surgery went excellent and I have had NO PROBLEMS what so ever!

My Scary Moment and my Wow moment too

Hi all I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance on Sat. I was having really bad chest pains. I spent most of my Sat at Kaiser Oakland while they where evaluating my heart. I have Mitral Valve prolapse and this time the pains lasted alot longer then usual. They did a set of Heart Function blood tests to see if there was any damage to my heart. The tests came back good. I had to stay there several hours untill the second test was ran.
I am awaiting to have a Nuclear Stress test sometime this week so they can look at my heart in 3-D. I am also due to have my 4 week check up on Thurs 4/12 and I have to see my PCP again this week sooo I have a ton of Dr appointments just this week alone.
The tears are swelling in my eyes and I ask that you all say a prayer for me if you are reading this and ask God to keep the only heart I have strong and healthy.

ps I forgot I had a wow moment I went to sears to buy a new Jacket and it was a size large! 14/16 I was so happy to get into that jacket and my 18's are getting too big now so I should be in a size 16 this month!!

I bought a size 18 pant on Friday I haven't wore a size 18 since 2004! I can't believe I can go into any store now and buy a 18! I have the New picture on my photo albumn. I am soo proud of myself. I am now weighing 257 so that's 19 pounds since surgery and 55 pounds total since my orientation in Sept that is gone FOREVER! I am soo proud of what I have accomplished so far! Thanks for reading this :-)
My WOW Moment!!

Ok everyone I had a WOW moment this morning! My baby girl gave me her size 16 skirt a few days before my surgery and I said I won't be able to wear that just yet. Wellllllll today I GOT IT ON and zipped it! A few months ago I was in a size 22 and now I can wear a 16 skirt! Yipppeeee!!! I can't wait to get into a size 18 pant this weekend!!
I saw my AMAZING PCP today and he was soooo happy to see me! I lost 51.5 pounds total today since my Orientation in Sept (lost 1 1/2 more pounds today!) He said I looked amazing and he said I sounded great! He submitted some blood tests today. My BLOOD PRESSURE IS NORMAL!! He was so happy and so I was.
I burst into tears and thanked him for such a supportive Doctor during this process. I feel so blessed to have his support too. He gave me alot of tips too.
So those who haven't seen your PCP yet MAKE sure yu give him/her that packet you got from your Post- Op class. He was soo happy to get it because he said they update there meds every year and it helps the Doctors keep up with the new guidelines!!
Ok Enough of my exciting news lol
My Lab tests came back and they are AMAZING!!!! They are so perfect and they are where there suppose to be at!! Yippeeee

Ok im 10 days post op and 12 pounds lighter! Can you believe it? I had a low grade fever last night but they said that's normal. My tummy is a lil sore BUT that's normal too lol. Im doing just fine and progressing right along.
I walked to the store and am NOT tired. I can't wait for my life to begin. Im dating right now and feel great about that. I desire to have a life partner one day and 2007 will BE MY YEAR!!

Hi everyone I am still here and craving protein so my friend on the message board told me to Puree Vegetable Beef soup! Yummmyyyyyyyyyyy im not sure if I can have it or NOT? But it sure taste good lol.
I have NOT dumped at all im down to 267.5 pounds. I am losing 2-3 pounds a day. I Do feel weak at times and I am trying to get my liquids in as much as I can. I am NOT in pain but I do feel great overall. I went to the store lately BUT I better start keeping my butt at home according to my mama lol.
I will put my pictures on my website of me in the hospital. I will take my 4 week post-op pics next month on the 12 when I see my Dr for my first labs.

My update:
I got on the scale this morning and lost another 3 pounds since yesterday. Yes I weighed myself at the hospital lol. I weighed 282 in the hospital AFTER surgery. My pre weight with that big ole gown was 276 give or take a few pounds. I would say I was more like 274. On Wed I was 282 and NOW I weigh 273. This weight is comming off.
I am still struggling with getting my water in BUT I slept with my water bottle so when I wake up I know it's time to get some in. So that's a tip sleep with your water bottle so you won't have any excuse NOT to drink your liquids.
I have gas, burps, hiccups lol the whole 9 yards. The painful gas I had went away the day I came home on Wed. So im not in any pain just the tenderness from my tummy BUT very little. My stomach has went down and I can suck it in lol. My blood pressure is back to normal so I don't have to take my pills anymore. I monitor my bp every night Per Chris Powell
I had my moment yesterday when my daughter had made Pizza *sigh* oh the days and had buyers remorse which is Normal. Then I got mad at someone who I used to date and then I toughened up and can't wait for another 3 months because im going to be that SEXY DIVA I was meant to be!! Those people are going to regret hurting my feelings I can't wait!!

Hiiiiiiii everyone I got home about 3 hours ago and I feel great. I need to write down when I took my meds. I feel great the liquid Vicodinis a GOD SEND to me. I stayed an extra day because my blood pressure was through the roof. That was to be expected when you already have HBP and then surgery to boot.
I had a noisy neighbor that made my night a living hell! It also made my blood pressure GO up even more so! I was sooooo mad at her and her damn family!
I am home and I am alive and I have pictures of my new tummy :-)
Thank YOU everyone for the prayers and well wishes! I appreciated them so much. GOD is able and he is very much alive because I am here and alive.
