Hi Nancy. I read your post on the message board. At 3-1/2 weeks things can still be difficult. I knew this and gave myself 2 months before expecting to feel "normal". At 6 weeks I was feeling a LOT better. Hang in there, Hon. Things will look up. And if you continue to have trouble eating & drinking, have your surgeon check you for a stricture.

Nancy--I am SO HAPPY FOR YOU, having your surgery tomorrow morning. Don't worry, the whole surgery is a piece of cake! I'm the same age as you, and I had the same surgery 6 months ago and had no problems at all. Even though we have this tragedy going on today, it is no reason to forget about your personal determination to overcome your battle with obesity. Best of luck. We're all rooting for you.

Hi Nancy, I just want to let you know I agree with you 100% on the stupid test not applying to everyone. I made a big mistake (yesterday)7/6 I understood the small 1 page test was asking you to answer according to how you've felt in the last 2 weeks. I did not understand that the other large test was also about the last 2 weeks. I thought it was according to your life as a fat person!!! I looked on the inside of the booklet to see if there were any specific instructions, there were'nt so I proceeded to answer according to how I felt and my abilitie's according to my being thin, versus the ability to function NOW!! BIG DIFFERENCE!!!! Anyway I'm going to talk to my sergion and to the same Person that handeled the test, since she really didn't ask me any questions according to what exactly I answered wrong to make her feel like I was completely DEPRESSED,ANXIOUS AND that I have to be on MEDS. Please wish me luck on this new BATTLE I'm going in for and Pray that all works out. Best of luck to you on your surgery and recovery. I will also be thinking of you now and in the future. You go girl, that's for your fighting for what you want!!! Sincerely,
