it was not as bad as I thought it would be.   I feel a little restriction not much, but in 2 weeks I can go back and get a another 1/2 cc if I'm not feeling a great restriction.  I will see how it all work out.  If anyone have had there first fill feel free to share your journey.  God Bless and TTYL!

Okay tomorrow I will be getting my first fill and I can't wait.  The last 2 weeks my appetite have increase.   I just make sure I keep healty foods around me when I get hungry.  I will let you guys know how it went.  God Bless and TTYL!

Okay this is the last day of the month and a month in 11 days before my B-day.  I've decided to start and set some goals for myself.  My B-day is September 11 and I want to lose at least 15 pounds before my B-day.

My weight today is 199.4

I want to be able to wear a 12/13 clothes 

Wish me luck i have a month and 11 days to go.  I will keep you guys posted on my weight lost.

1. We've all just passed or will soon be passing our six month marks. At this point, how much weight have you lost? 29 pounds in 2 months

2. Do you think you're losing too slowly? I do but I'm happy where I'm at.  I have the band so I expect to lose slow.

3. What are your top five food items at the moment? Grilled Chicken, Yogurt, Mash Potatoes, Tuna, Eggs.

4. Do you resent the surgery at all? Or have any regrets? No this was the best decision I made for myself.

5. List three things you've accomplished since surgery that you probably couldn't have done before. Tuck my shiirt in my pants, walk up 3 flight of stairs without feeling like I need oxygen and lastly feeling confident in my own skin. 

6. Are you getting in all of your protein and vitamins? Yes

7. Have you noticed any transfer addictions? What are you doing to fill the void? Not yet but I do think about shopping more.  I haven't done much of it yet. 

8. Where do you think you'll be in six months, weight wise and in general? Hopefully have lost another 29 pounds and still feeling great.

9. What are your worst fears related to weight and surgery? That I won't get to my goal weight.

10. Tell us a little about yourself in general.
38 year old mother of 2 kids and 2 grandkids.  I have been married for 16 years and 20 years total with my spouse.

I had a co-worker walk up to me today and say you are getting so skinny are you on a diet?  I smile and said yes than she stated you look so good. .  This made me feel so good.  The funny part is I can't seem to tell I've lost that much weight .  I can feel the difference in my clothes, but I don't see the change in front of me.  I guess all my hard work is paying off.  Hopefully on the 8th of August I will receive my first fill and there will be more wieght coming off.   I'm still losing I havn't gotten to that stage where my weight loss has stalled yet and I hope not.  My weight loss now have just slowed down a little.  My goal before I go in for my first fill is I hope I'm out of the 200's.  I have been eatting a little more than I was before, but I do make sure there healthy choices.  

I exercise:

30 min @ Curves
20 min walk @ work
30 min walk @ home

I'm eatting just Chicken in Fish(salmon) at this time and it really working out for me.

I decided to try on a pair of size 14 Jeans and to my suprise they fit, but that's not the WOW moment for me.  My WOW moment was I was able to tuck my shirt in my pants.  This felt so good I haven't been able to do this since I was able 12 yrs old.  It's funny how little things like that seem to make your day.  This was the best thing I could have ever done for myself.  I'm so happy I decided to have WLS.  I was a diabetic giving myself 5 shots a day and checking my blood sugar 10 times a day.  Since I had the surgery I have not had to give myself any shot's.  I told one of my co-worker today if I don't lose another pound I'm grateful for not having to do shots anymore.  This was a blessing that god has help me get to this point in my life.  God Bless and TTYL!

and I feel great.  I'm so glad I got WLS I don't know what to do.  I have been drinking my water, taking my med's, exercising and eating right.  I can see a change and it feel good.  If there is anyone out there that are deciding to get WLS remember make the choice for you.  I love that I made this decision.  I just wish I would have did it years ago.   Until the next time god bless and TTYL!.

I'm feeling great.  I'm exercising 1 hr each day and trust me it's paying off.   I can walk upstairs with more ease and walk longer distance without being tried.  The only thing I don't like is chewing my vitamins yuk ;o( I have included some new pic's of me 1 month post-op.  I will post later with more information.  God Bless and TTYL.

Hi guys I havn't post anything on my page in a while.  i just want to catch you guys up on my progress.  I had Lap band surgery on June 13, 2007.  My surgery went well and I'm enjoying my life as a bandest and on the losing bench.  I have been exercising 30 to 40 min a day and I can totally tell that the exercise is truly showing.  I have lost a total of 24 pounds since June 3rd to date I'm still shock with my weight loss, but I'm eating healthy and exercise like I suppose too.  I will be posting some new pic's soon.  Erica thanks for the reminder. :o)  God Bless and TTYL.
