Hey Nikki, Things always get worse before they get better and I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. You might be being tested right now to see how determined and how steadfast you are in your desire for this life change. Hang in there and never give up on your dreams. Take action and call the appeal board or whoever you sent the appeal letter to, and find out what the time frame is or if there is anything you can do to help them out. Send flowers or something nice to the person that helps you, that can help too! Good luck!

Nikki, it sounds to me like you have a much better handle on your attitude than I did at this point in time. Pre-op. Kudos to you!! Just hang in there!!! It will happen, It Will Happen, IT WILL HAPPEN. I agree I would call the insurance company even though your lawyer said , "No". I had an incident where if I had not called Social Security myself I would not have found out some very important info till almost three weeks later. I really like your positive notes all over the house routine. I think I am going to suggest it to my daughter. Take care, Nancy S.

Hi Nikki, just wanted to tell you that I wish you the best. Remember things happen when they are meant to happen. I know how you must be feeling--like the surgery won't happen for you but I KNOW IT WILL. You seem like such a great person. Hang in there and be patient, we are all behind you 100%. :)
