really sucks. So I was supposed to get the abdominal ultrasound on 3/26 at 8PM. At 2PM the tech called and wanted me in a bit earlier. and "oh yea, your fasting right?" Well no, wasn't told to. So I got the"you'll have to resched and there is nothing until 4/12" arrgh......ticked me off.
Friday I got my annual exam and authorization for mammogram. 

Tonight I am going to meet the Hampton Roads group. That should be fun, I'm really excited.
Oh and when I went to the Nut I met Missy aka afwife0825. Great girl. I hope she finally gets clearance for the surgery.

Going out to enjoy the sun;take a little cruise in my Sebring convertible!

I had an appointment with my Nut yesterday. She is lovely. It's so good to know I have nutritional support now and after surgery. Tomorrow I go to the Gynecologist and get the mammogram too. Monday I have an abdominal ultrasound last piece for pre op.

...     the call for my initial consult with Dr. Mann! I go March 8th. When the receptionist called me she wanted me  to come in March 1st. Well this just happens to be the first day of my cruise so...no way! I need a vacation with Leo. We never got to take a honeymoon. Sept 11th happened and he was recalled in the Navy.  I can't wait to be on the other side. Losing the weight, winning  a healthier me.

 I am getting so excited! I should be called for my consult with Dr. Chastanet or Dr. Mann  at Portsmouth Naval Hospital this week. I feel so ready for this to begin. My "blue book" is worn from all the reading I have done. 
March 1st I am going on my first cruise. Disney Cruise Line to the Bahama's. Hubby and I plan to go on the fishing excursion and go to Nassau shopping and sightseeing. 

One Flaw In Women

They cry when their children excel
and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about
a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they
think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss
can heal a broken heart.

 

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what
makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have compassion and ideas.
They give moral support to their
family and friends.
Women have vital things to say
and everything to give.
HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.
