I'm writting to say THANK YOU for your kind words of support. They mean alot to someone like me. Someone who's still looking to have the surgery. I'm still learning this process so please bear with me while I learn this. Again I'd like to say THANK YOU for the very kind words. Respectfully

Dear Alice, Thank you for your encouragment, it is nice to hear from other people who have been through this. My family lives in CT and I am doing this solo. At times it is scary, what I will be going through, but mostly I am anxious and excited to be successful at getting this weight off!! You look great! Congratulations on your successful weight loss! -Allison Troy, NY

Thanks for visiting my profile page, I was happy to see someone has been reading about my journey. I see you have already had the surgery and you look GRRRREEEAAAT! I am not scared to have the results you have had, but just scared of the unknown. As much as one can read about WLS or talk to people who have had it, I am sure it can never be the same as the real deal! I expect alot of life changing things to come from this surgery, but as you said to me, don't look back, and I feel I never will! Thanks!

Alice, Thank you for your encouragement. I am pretty unfamiliar with how to do things and where to check messages and send them, so I only discovered your message from the 10th tonight. Yes, I have found this site to be a wonderful source of information. I have learned so much. I don't post much, but I read alot of what others post, and I find it so helpful, many are asking the same questions I have. My surgery has been scheduled for March 3rd. So it's coming up quick. I am nervous but hopeful. Thank you once again for your support.

~You're Not Going That Way~ As you travel through life, there are times when decisions just have to be made. When all you can do is gather your courage and choose a direction that carries you toward a new dawn. So take a step forward. The process of change can be tough but think about the excitement ahead. There could be adventures you never imagined and wishes and dreams just about to come true. So keep putting one foot in front of the other and taking your life day by day. There's a brighter tomorrow just down the road. Don't look back- you're not going that way!
