Hi Judy! I don't know so much about the gas pains (I had open not LAP) but I do know that it gets better. I had a bad case of 'what in the heck did I do' for a while after surgery. You will go through stages and eventually get to the part where you would do it again in a heartbeat! Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Hugs, Mo

I spoke to Judy's husband and he told me that she did great during surgery. She was in a bot of pain but that overall she was doing good Thank God! I am so happy for her. Then I received surprise call from Judy herself! I couldn't believe it. She said she felt like a mack truck hit her but she wa sdoing good and had already gotten up to walk. Thank you all for the prayers and good wishes that you gave to my pal Judy. She will be so pleased to read your posts to her. Hugs,
