Beverly, I just want to wish you much success with the RNY. I have no regrets and I know you won't either. I really enjoyed reading about you and how wonderful your husband is. :) I can't tell you how wonderful it is to have a supporting husband. My husband had to talk to a few of our friends that had this surgery before telling me okay. They convinced him to give me all the support I need. And boy has he. I started out at 317 pounds and am down to 234 pounds. I've gone from a size 26 to a size 18/20. It is wonderful to be able to cross my legs again and to fit into seats that I used to have to stuff myself into. And, the big thing, I weigh less than my husband does. :) I'm hoping to lose at least 60 more pounds, but Praise God that I've lost what I have. I'm saying a prayer for you and your doctors. I know that is what helped me the most. Having friends and family praying for me.

Hi Beverly!!! Thanks for your post. It's a blessing to know another person who is having surgery the SAME DAY... and that has a COLD THIS WEEK! I can not BELIEVE I am stuffy, and not feeling well either. Please keep in touch. I will keep you in my prayers. See ya on the losing side.
