Tomarrow: The First Day of the Rest of My Life!

So it’s the night before my RNY! There’s was a few big deal things this past week, but if I can’t blog from my phone then I am pretty bad at it! So I went to my pre op at the hospital and they did all the normal stuff then they took my BP.. Well it was through the Roof!!!!! They told me to t relax and this and that and then they checked it again, still high. Then the nurse, who despite the story I’m about to tell, she was very nice, tells me we go ahead and to your EKG and then the X-rays and then check it again. Ok so I go a head and walk the 5 miles down and then back and as soon as I get to my room they check my BP again (as my heart is racing from the walk) It was still high! Well then she tells me, “go ahead and try to relax and I’ll come check it gain, coz we got to get this down or they can cancel your surgery!” I was like ‘yeah that’s going to help me get it down! Thanks’Well the anasthealogist told me its probably just stress and they can give me anti anxiety meds and try to get it down (if its up tomorrow) and just as l0ong as the bottom number is under 110 I should be fine.
So yesterday was my “day of last meals” LOL I know it’s not right but, I had, pizza for breakfast, DQ in the afternoon, and a chilies rellenos for lunch. Then on the way home for renting DVDs I bought a shake from Baskin Robins. Oh dang! That sounds like a whole lot of food! Never again!!!!!
So This morning I was supposed to take the mag citrate at 10am but since I had to go to Wal Mart and didn’t know how I’d react to it I didn’t take it till I got home at 11am. I was preparing to chased it down with sprite coz I read how horrible it tasted but I found out it wasn’t that bad!!! It wasn’t that good either but I handled it. Then I took it a little before 3pm. Nothing happened though! I had some stomach rumbling and a lot of nausea but I didn’t “clean out” I called my surgeon to see what I should do. He told me it will eventually kick in. IDK here it is 10:55 pm and still nothing! Maybe I’ll be up n on the toilet at 2am, who knows!
Anyways I haven’t even got packed yet. And I just took my “biggest loser” pictures the ones with the shots and sports bra (that was painful) I did back front and both sides. Now I need to find some where to hide those bad boys LOL
Oh well. So tomorrow’s the big day! Good luck to all my Surgery Twins!!!! We are on our way!!!!!
