Where does the time go?
Mar 21, 2009
I have been MIA on here for months, and I can't believe it's been that long! Life has a way of getting in the way of the things we do for ourselves. Spring semester and 2 new classes (CNAs and EMTs), baseball season for 2 sons at 2 different high schools, father terminally ill in Ohio, student HOSA competition, and husband all over the globe with the military. I miss my friends here and am going to make a concerted effort to get here more often. I'm not losing any weight with all this chaos..only my mind. Thankfully, the sun's starting to peak out more and more often so my activity has definately increased. Between walking the halls for clinical and walking around the school with the afternoon students, I'm getting walking in. I've started working on my flower beds (I know, just getting started) and the pool (which turned a horrid green this week) so things are improving. It's so lovely to be able to walk and move without pain. To be able to put on panty-hose without breaking a sweat. Now, if I could just get my hair to grow back in! It's still falling out!

Time flies, scales creep

I'm in a stall and getting really disgusted with it, but I had less than stellar lab work so I've had to increase my calcium, D, B, and protein and I think that's making some difference. I definately will be hitting the nutritional forum to learn all I can. I also have to get some energy and try to do some exercise beyond what I'm doing in the cold weather (which means mostly nothing I want to be a LOSER so I need to get in motion! I have seriously thought of buying some new scales. Maybe my stall is a glitch in my scales??? lol
Definate WOW moment!!!

OH Time

Oh, I have a WOW moment: I had to get some shirts for my HOSA officers to have shirts embroidered to wear to a conference. I was able to get into a 18 / 20! Woo hoo! I'll have a shirt that matches the girls and not the boys! Yeah Me!
