"3/17/04 I had my one on one w/Dr. Ali. He has been doing WLS for several years. He has done lap over 120 times. He says he has never lost a lap patient. And overall, very few loses. I went in with 2 typed pages of questions and he answered every question and was not at all bothered by my directness. I felt like he was giving me the pat answer to some of my questions, so I had to really probe on a few to get the answer I was looking for, but he didn't seem to mind that either. So I would say to make sure you do your research. He really didn't offer up much info unless I asked. And keep asking till you get the info you need. He's a 10+ in my book. Hopefully the rating will stay the same Post op :)rn5/12 - Well Dr. Ali is a close to god like as one can get! He is a man of few words, but he knows what he is doing...and that's what really matters in the end. I'm two weeks post op and have had very little pain. My lap surgery was quick and easy and I have been off of pain meds since the 3rd day after surgery! "

"The nursing staff was good to excellent. Mandy made my stay especially good. She has a tremendous bedside manner. Her presence alone is very soothing. Add to that thay she is an excellent nurse...I was very pleased! Some of the staff could improve in their responsiveness to the call button. Other than that I am happy with my choice."
