I talked to Rhonda today and she was on her way home. I know, from experience, that once she's in her own environment she's going to feel a lot better. She sounded stronger and "on her way." Cheryl L

Barbara, my prayers will sure be with you on the 24th. Once you are on the other side your heart will become healthy and strong! You will put your new computer training to work for you, and be happy and successful! I wish you the best now and always, God Bless you.

Goodevening to all, I just talked to Rhonda about 45 minutes ago and she has been doing alot of walking , so of course she is in a huge amount of pain,I think she is having a hard time handling all of this pain, but I'm sure in a couple of days she will be so glad that she endured it and starting a brand new life, so lets all really hit our knees and earnestly pray that her pain will ease up completely very soon,as much pain as she has been in though she still noticed my WV accent and just loved it, I guess I'm one of her first Hillbilly Amos friends, but I really adore her she has been such an excellant angel for so many ,so lets pull together and get her on the road to recovery with our prayers, and to the rest my prayers are with you also. Love and prayers!!!! Wana.

Angel Update: I visited with Rhonda today. She had taken and passed her leak test and was awaiting W-A-T-E-R. UUUmmmmmm water. She still has quite a bit of pain but is hanging in there. She is a walking fool. I am 8 days post-op from an open and I had trouble keeping up with her. I was also able to meet her sweet mom, Nova. She's a keeper. Rhonda is one the road to recovery and I'll bet she'll be home in a day or so.

Rhonda - Congratulations and welcome to the other side. Before you know it, you won't even remember the first 24 or 48 hours after surgery although I haven't reached that point yet (haha). Seriously, I'm so glad you're over that and each day will get only better and better. You're in my prayers and I'll talk to you very soon. Cheryl L

Good Morning. Last evening I called the hospital and spoke to Rhonda's dear Mom Nova. Rhonda finally got a change in pain medications. The original (probably morphine) just wasn't doing the job! Nova said Rhonda was going to try and get some sleep. Unfortunately, she had an absolutely "stinkin" day. I have my one week post op appointment this afternoon and plan to drop in on her and Tere. I'm going to print their cards around 11 a.m., so this is your last chance to post and have it recognized on the "OFFICIAL GET WELL GREETING CARD". Thanks to everyone who has been thinking of and praying for our dear Rhonda.
