Rhonda, All right girl, I knew I would see the posting that you are now on the other side......I knew without a doubt you will be fine. Yes the Pain meds can be a little to much, I totaly felt like a ZOMBIE and my IV'S felt like I was pushing around a 50 barrel can. Once I came off the Pain control stuff, I could push the IV cart around a little easier. I will continue to keep you in my prayer. lol DREAMS DO COME TRUE FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVES.......JAY BILLER

Hi everyone. I just received a e-mail from Nova, Rhonda's mom and spoke to Rhonda myself. She is indeed on 8East at the University of California Medical Center here in Sacramento. Her telephone number is (916) 734-3511. Just ask for her room. Her mom has asked me to pass along to all her AMOS buddies that she would LOVE to hear from you. She thrives on this support group as we all know. She is Nova's special angel. When I spoke to Rhonda, she was quite a bit of pain but asked for the level of the PCA to be reduced so that she could more easily get up and walk. She was a little mad at me though. I had surgery last Tuesday. I have an incredibly high pain threshhold. I think Rhonda was hoping she would have as easy as time as God blessed me to have. As we all know, that first 24+ hours is a lulu!! Please, if you can't give her a call for just a minute, please post to her page. I have a 1 week post op appointment tomorrow and plan to take her messages to her!! Way to go Rhonda!

Rhonda's mom, Nora wrote me this note and asked me to pass it on.Robin, Thank you so very much about your concern for Rhonda. We appreciate your concern. I am Rhonda's mom, Nova. Her surgery went very well. She had no complications at all. I tried to visit her in recovery but they would not let me up there. They told me her surgery had been delayed but then about 10 minutes later Dr. Wolfe came out and told me she was out. Hooray! She did get sent to 4th East with a TERRIBLE room mate who was yelling and swearing. Rhonda was fit to be tied as you can imagine. When we requested a move, they said there were absolutely no rooms left. Then, just a very short time later, the nurse came back and said, "You are going to be moved to 8th East". That is the very best wing and SHE IS THERE. She is doing well. Can you believe it, she is on the Other Side. Please let others know how much we appreciate the care and the prayers. I can't remember how to do it. If I can figure it out, I will post a message for her later today. Nova Way to go, Rhonda sweetie! Robin
