What's happening in Janurary!

Jan 24, 2009

This is on my farm when we got the winter snow storm!

Just an update, I went to the doctor and she increased my medicine for my spasms, she said she could tell a little difference, so now  I won't have another appointment with her for 3 weeks, then the doctor will give me a fill of bacoflen medicine in my stomach, and up my medicine again, I am up to 287% right now, the doctor thinks I need to be over 300% before I can have my operation. So the day I go to her, I then have an appointment with the plastic surgeon also, hopefully to get a date for surgery! yeah!

I need to get fixed so I can live! The weather is cold here, but it warmed up enough to be sloppy muddy weather outside, nothing is nastier than life on a farm in the winter! yuck! The guys had to go buy 15 more rolls of hay today, the horses are eating a roll every other day! Yikes! We hope to find more good dry hay.
My little welsh corgi, Kissy, had 3 sweet little baby girls puppies! They all have a show collar, which is a white ring all the way around their neck.
My sister and brother are both going to Dr.Wheeler, the best doctor around! I am so proud of them both! They go every month to the dietitian and to see the physical therapist. Yesterday Garry was the "biggest loser of the month" he lost 19.5 pounds this month, so far he has lost 38 pounds since DEC.17,2008, this was his second visit to the office. Donna has lost a total of 15.5 pounds! They are doing so good! They haven't even had their surgeries yet. Donna gets hers in June and Garry gets his in July.Everyone out there keep your fingers crossed and hope Donna quits smoking!!
 Until then my friends....................................................

just a thought

"Tough girls come from New York. Sweet girls, they're from Georgia. But us Kentucky girls, we have fire and ice in our blood. We can ride horses, be a debutante, throw left hooks, and drink with the boys, all the while making sweet tea, darlin'. And if we have an opinion, you know you're gonna hear it.” ~Ashley Judd

To Have WLS, or not.......It is your life..do it for you!!

Dec 16, 2008

Hi everyone,
Welcome to my site. I have been a member of Obesityhelp.com since March 2005, but way before that I was on here snooping around trying to find the 'MIRACLE', or the perfect way out, because there sure isn't an easy way out, even tho some people might think that is what all of us that has struggled with our weight or our health problems so long are doing, I feel that all of us that has made  the choice to have WLS,  are brave people, because we finally took control of OUR lives! We are not letting our weight control us any more, we are not sitting on the out side looking in any more, we are living life to the fullest, and enjoying every moment that God has allowed us to have here on this sweet earth! So people don't worry about what your  neighbors, so called friends, or office workers is saying behind your back , let that fly over your head, you concern your self with getting healthy and happy and back into living, and you will soon, let this surgery, be your second chance at being truly happy!  In other words,"Don't sweat the little things in life".
