I hope you get to feeling better. Its good for us cause we are young and when your young they say you bounce back faster. I am 24 and having surgery on Nov 1st..I as well have been over weight since about 8-9. Do you ever remember having muscles in the back of your legs?? I sure dont :( cant wait to have that!

I talked to Rachel last night and she sounded good. A little groggy -- but, then again, she had had surgery that day (lap RNY). She said she was a little achy but doing OK. I will see her today on my lunch hour if she is up to visitors. Please take a minute to post something to her surgery page as I will be taking it to her today.
Rachel - Have been thinking of you and are anxiously waiting to hear that you are doing fine - I know you will be up and kicking soon, as well as being on the road to being a lighter, healthier and happier person. Wishing you the best!
Best wishes for a complication free procedure, a speedy recovery, successful weight loss, and life long good health and happiness. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Toni Treadway, Lithia Springs, Georgia, Post Op, Lap RNY 9/4/01.
Rachel, Best wishes on your surgery, You are in God's hands. Dr Wongsa is truly gifted and is being guided by a higher source. Keep your chin up. Welcome to the losers club. :)
