Gripe about doctors office.

For some reason I feel the need to gripe about my doctors office this morning. Don't get me wrong, I love Dr. Wilson, Zoe, Carol and the front desk ladies, my problem lies with the people behind the scenes. First of all, the only time I have spoken with the "Great Connie" was when she called me when I was approved. I called and left her several messages and never once did she call me back, I ended up having to call Zoe to get my answers. My second problem is with the office manager. They have a sign that says if you pay 50.00 to see the nutritionist they won't file with your insurance, well I saw her 4 times and paid my 50.00 everytime. Lo and behold I started to get bills from the business office to pay what my insurance would not cover, so after speaking with the business office they said they needed the office manager to call them and fax over the statement about the 50.00. I have left message after message for the office manager and never got a call.....until the day I spoke to Zoe to find out what I would have to pay the doctor. That day the office manager got on the phone with me like I was his best friend and told me what I would have to pay the doctor, since I had him on the phone I took the opportunity to talk to him about him filing my nutritionist visits with insurance, he assured me he would take care of it. Guess what I got in the mail yesterday? Another bill from the business office wanting the remainder of what is owed on my nutritionist visits. Great, my surgery is in a week and they still have not fixed this problem....but that is okay, I have my Pre-Op on Wednesday and I will be taking the bill in and speaking to the office manager in person!!
