Cheese Chips
Dec 30, 2009
Try different spices and different ingredients in your "chips"!Cheese Chips
-extra old cheddar, jarlsberg, swiss, mozza (I find this cheese a little soft so I generally blend it with a nice old cheddar) or parm cheese
-pumpkin, sesame or sunflower seeds (optional)
-½ tsp. onion powder
-½ tsp. garlic powder
-½ tsp. of your favorite hot spice (optional)
-Toss ingredients together.
-Place little clumps on non-stick cookie sheet & bake at 400º for approximately 6 minutes until flat, hard, & crisp - not burned so KEEP AN EYE ON THEM!!!!!
-Remove with spatula & place on rack to cool.
Note~ I add all sorts of things to these babies! I really like them with ham, pepperettes or salami (cut very small...actually I give the meat a quick whiz in my food processor).
