Hey everyone! I spoke to Monique's sister ar about 3:30pm today, and she said that Monique is doing great. She had her surgery this morning, and is going to be in ICU for about 24 hours. When I spoke to her, she said that they were getting ready to take Monique off of the vent. She also said that she has no pain because the epidural is doing it's job. Way to go Monique!!! I am so happy that everything is going well. Congratulations on joining the "losing side". God bless. ~~Kimber~~

Monique- Congratulations on getting switched! I had mine August 19, 2002. My husband brought my laptop to the hospital after the 4th day (I was in 9 days) I didn't have the energy or attention span to even watch TV for the first 3 days. After that, I kept up with family and friends via computer in the hospital. Depending on your stay, you may feel up to work, or not- but probably not the first 3 or 4 days!
