My story is like alot of others on here. I have had weight problems since I was 9 years old. I got up to 529 pounds by the age of 38. I never wanted to have this surgery,but when I came to North Carolina my new doctor here made me go to a infomation meeting with a doctor here.Now I had no choice to go or not cause I was in the hospital, so he put it as orders for me to go. I would not have ever went on my own. When I got there I wanted to leave but couldn't..so I thought to myself I just wouldn't listen...
Yeah right!
Well I not only listened but I asked questions...At the end of the meeting I wanted to have the surgery done. So I was very glad i was sent to the meeting. Thats when my life changed for the better!
