Hello Sally; I am writing this to let you know you're in my thoughts and prayers, I too waited and eternity to have surgery and it has turned out to be the most wonderful things I have ever done, in just 3 short months I feel like a totally different person. Life is so prescious now and I value it daily. I have read your post often, and feel like I know you as we have had a lot in common as most of us do. I wish for you to have a wonderful and uneventful surgery with a speedy recovery! Susie

Sally, just to let you know that I am praying that your surgery is uneventful and your recovery is as smooth as silk. You have been through so much to get to this point and now you are about to take a giant leap of faith. I know that Jesus will hold your hand and lead you through this. It's going to be so exciting to see where your path will lead. Dreams do come true :-) Big Hugs,

"Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb." -Sir Winston Churchill Best of luck on your journey, Sally! My thoughts are with you for your special day!

Sally, you don't know me but I am what I've seen others call a lurker to the site. Of all the messages I've read you are the only one I've ever been able to remember! You know why that is? Because I think you are the bravest person I've ever "known". I am soooooooo happy for you and your ability to make the choice to change your life forever. I haven't had the surgery and have in all honesty been back and forth on the idea. I guess that's why I always remembered your name above all the rest. You were voicing my own worries. I do believe that you might have given me the courage to pursue my dream of a new me. Thank you! I'll be on this site everyday checking on your progress and expect pictures SOON complete with that wonderful smile you have! May the Lord always be with you and continue to bless you in ALL you do.
