Pending surgery in four weeks
Oct 09, 2012
I did everything required for the surgery. The EGD was painless but the doc office gave me a scare. After the EGD the doc came and told me that he removed polyps and they were going to be sent to the lab. I did not think anything of it, it's best to be safe then sorry. I forgot all about it and then the doc office called me on Friday. I was out and they left a message for me to call them. I had to wait Saturday and Sunday because they were closed. I called on Monday and they said, 'Oh yes, we did call, we just wanted to tell you that the EGD was fine, no problems." ::big sigh:: Thank you Lord.
My final task is to go for the pre-op teaching class. I think it is 2 hours long. I had to call them and tell them that I would be late. I have to go to work that morning but this class is across the street from where I work. As soon as I get out of work, I can run walk over for the class.
I bought vitamins, protein powder, shakes, and GasX strips. I have been reading the boards, jotting down notes and buying supplies. Right now, I am not really anxious about it. I am looking forward to having it done and lose weight.
