Dec 18, 2011

Hi everyone, sorry for MIA. I was so disgusted at trying to get the money to get to see a doc bout having the surgery, I gave up and thought I'd try to search for another method to lose this weight. Well, I found the HCG protocol diet and tried it for a year, first round I lost 42 lbs on the homeopathic drops, I was all excited. Well with being in college I decided to go the injection route so only had to do an injection of morning and go one bout my business for the rest of the day (for convenience). I struggled so badly on it. Well I went another 3 rounds trying different dosages, different brands, different mixing methods etc, all was a failure. So in December 2010 I decided to take a break from it, stayed off till after I returned from my week long cruise to Alaska which was in May 2011. Well a week after I returned I got back onto another round with the Ovidac brand. Well a tragedy struck our house with my boyfriend having a horrible motorcycle accident, leaving him seriously injured. With all the stress etc that was going on with him and his care, I decided to come back off of it, cause as Dr Simeons said any stress will trigger your journey while on the dosaging. So I come off of it deciding to wait till he was out of hospital and he was doing better which was like 3-4 months later. So I decided to try it once again on Ovidac, giving me a long break. Well..................it did it again, but instead of losing it caused me to gain the rest of my weight back. So I said well this is my last straw, not trying this any longer. Was on the hcg for over a year, if that not determination I don't know what is. Longest I had ever given any diet any chance to work on me. I then tried to do the Bio-medic diet that I had seen some of my on-line friends talking bout that was working so well. Well I only took a half of a dose, cause didn't want to jump into it full force at the beginning to see how my body reacted to it. Well that didn't work, it cause my blood pressure to go to 135/105 within bout 45 minutes after taking the dosage, so I immediately quit that, couldn't take the chance to put my health at risk like that. Scare the tar out of me, felt very weird. So I came across this other one call the Juice Fasting, I bought me a juicer and got all my fruits and veggies, I tried it and I was absolutely starving by 3pm the very first day. Love the juice it made but not very filling, So decided well this is my final try. So I got on-line found the bridges website and started looking up WLS info and the different methods. I had originally wanted to see about getting the Realize band done. I started researching on-line info on it, I set up my seminar which is this week on Dec 14 in Tempe, AZ, I started looking up websites, info, you-tube videos, etc on different ways and reviews on each kind. I heard so many good good reviews on the vertical sleeve gastrectomy (VSG) I think that's the way I am gonna try to go (depending on what my ins allows). Seen and heard too many reviews and stories on the band slipping and damaging stomach etc and sometimes death. I cant afford that, cause got a 3 yr old grandson living with me. So on Dec 14th I will go to the seminar and find out all the info I can and get this started. I cant set up no surgery dates yet unless they want to do it before end of year which I doubt that ever happen. i cant set it up yet cause my insurance changes effective Jan 1 with a different carrier. So have to wait for it to kick in so can call see bout my coverages on the WLS. I will be using Cigna as of Jan 1. So if any of you have had that please by all means contact me to let me know how it went for approval from them. Once I find out the coverages etc, I will start the process to continue to get this done. Thank you for reading this long update but thought I'd let you all know where I stand right now and whats going on. I sooooo cant wait to get this started.
