Crazy week.  I haven't weighed myself this week.

I need to start exercising more, I just get so wrapped up in studying I forget, and then it's like.... I'll do it tomorrow.  Just trying to understand this binary crap is frustrating, and this submask net stuff =o/.   25 = 11001   its like WTF im crazy lol.

I take care of my Grandmother almost fulltime, I used to before the surgery, but I can't lift her at all now.  She had both her legs amputated... well... its started last May she had two toes off the right leg, June she had one toe off the left leg; then in Sept she had the the right leg cut just below the knee, and then in Dec. she had her left leg amputated right below the knee.  Diabetes.

I coudn't lift her at all before my surgery when she had them both amputated, and much less now, nothing over 10 pounds as my doctor has instructed.  So my uncle is here taking care of her, but because I am studying so much, he doesn't want to bother me.  Well the other day he had her in the room on the commode (portable toilet) and he went to throw her pamper away.  (She has Alzheimers with dementia)  and he never told me he was gonna leave her on the commode.   Well she fell off the commode, head first because of the alzheimers she didnt put her hands up, smacked head first into the metal leg of the bed.

She cracked her head open, the inside of her nose was bleeding.  She bled like I have never seen anyone bleed before.  We went through a whole roll of paper towels, 4 packs of gauze and a maxipad thing the emt put on her when they arrived.  All that within twenty minutes of falling.  To give you an idea, we took four thick gauzes, put them on her forehead, taped them to her forehead, and in less than five minutes the gauze was BRIGHT red filled to the brim with blood and blood began to pour down the sides of her face.  From two small cuts on her forehead, that kinda looks superficial, I jokingly tried to calm her down by making a joke that she will now look like Harry Potter.

We had to lighten the mood because with the Alzheimers, while my uncle was holding the paper towel against her head, she was freaking out about the pain, and she was telling my uncle (her son), "daddy please dont hit me anymore, it hurts too much"  Which is heartbreaking.

She went to the hospital with my aunt, and came back the next day.  I made a joke about her boxing people, and she was like "ya you should have seen the other guy, I beat the crap out of him".  LOL  That's my abuelita.  Oddly Ironic, she used to fight people too I have heard stories, lol, my youngest uncle apparently the teacher was failing him, so when she walked by the apartment building.  My grandmother from distance threw eggs out the window at the teacher landing every single one of them.  One time the man came to turn off the electricity, and she asked him to wait a few, that she was waiting for the cash to arrive and he said he would wait, but as soon as my grandmother went back to the house he went to turn it off, she flew down the flights of stairs and beat the crap out of him, the neighbors had to pull her off.  LOL

I think I miss the cooking the most out of all of it... OMG  my gramma could cook.... I salivate just thinking about it... there is no one that could cook like gramma cooks... it doesn't even compare....

She is doing alot better, the swelling has gone down, but her face is black and blue.
Just thought I'd share and vent...
