Bile duct issues!

I have been having pain and discomfort on my right side for a few months. So finally when I mentioned this to Bayview they thought automatically gallstones and sent me for a sonogram and that showed a dilated bile duct so they wanted to look further into. So I got a MRI and CT Scan and they still couldn’t tell why my bile duct is the way it is. They sent me for a Hida scan which showed my gallbladder is not emptying like it should because I have a bile duct stricture. So they scheduled me for an ERCP. The ERCP is when he goes to my bile duct with a scope and looks at the gallbladder and ducts and then while hes in there he said he would clean out my bile duct whatever is stuck in there or if nothing is stuck he said he would put a stent or cut it a little to open it some to let the bile be able to drain through
I woke up yesterday and felt this horrible pain in my left side which I was confused because my bile issues were always on my right side. I found out they cut through my muscle to insert this drainage tube. I am walking like a damn hunch back. I can’t stand up straight. I found out they couldn’t do the ERCP because he couldn’t get to the area because my altered anatomy so he put a tube into my stomach to drain my own bile which is so damn painful because it’s through my muscle. So I have to leave this tube in 3 weeks and drain my own bile then on Aug 16th I go back and he will go in through this hole he made yesterday do the ERCP. Which I pray is successful this time.
Sucks because now I have this long tube hanging out of my stomach. It comes out under my left boob and it hangs down to my underwear. So I will get some medical tape and see if I can tape it up under my bra line or something. We go to OC next weekend for my sisters Bachelorette weekend and we are going to the pool bar on Sat so now I have to sit on the side lines and just go in the water up to my waist at the most. Sucks! Also have to try to hide this tube somehow so you don’t see if under my clothes. Such a pain! If I would have know they were doing this yesterday I would have done it when I came back from OC.

I am just having a great day today. I started on 11/3/09 as a size 28—30 and I went to the store today because my 24 jeans are getting so big on me. So I went to buy a pair of size 22 jeans and when I tried them on the 22’s were too big. I couldn’t even believe it. In less than 3 months I have went from a size 28 to size 20. I am just so excited!
