Well Well Well hello again everyone, it seems like forever since I've been on here. I must say, and I hate to brag but my surgery has been going GREAT!!!!! no complications at all, I mean none. I had to ask the doc were they sure they really did my surgery because i am able to eat anything without any pain, which is like a catch 22 because I would kind of like to dump a little so I know my limits with sugar but so far no dumping, cramping, throwing up, foamies nothing, god is good, all the time. I am down about 91 pounds, seems like it should be more, but since I don't exercise at all (YET) its probably right where it should be. The one thing that I can say is true about the surgery is that it does not change your mind. I would be lying if I said I only ate healthy foods, I find myself eating all the same fattening foods that got me where I was before the surgery only less, but the scale has not gone up only down so that's a blessing. I will get it together soon. I was wearing a 26/28 before the surgery and now I'm wearing a 18/20 hey I cant complain.  I feel good, I'm happier and I actually like to shop now something I thought I would never say. ohhh the one thing I hate is my hair is thinning really bad, I looked at it the other day like, damnnnn I feel like I'm going through radiation or something (sorry to those who really are, I'm just keeping it real) but I always been a fan of weave so if you can weave it, you can achieve it lol. I would be a advocate for weight loss surgery all day, if your reading this and your thinking about having it done, go for it, its the best thing that has happened to me in a long time.

Its Saturday Aug 20,2011 im currently still in the hospital since thursday, I was unable to pass gas untill last night so they dont let you leave until you do. Everything with my surgery went GREAT god is good, little to no pain at all the only pain was gas pains they can be a doozy but i got to my room about 2:00 Pm aftr surgery and I was up and walking by like 2:10 so if I can give any advice walk asap, and I continued to walk all day even other patients was like boyy u getting busy with your laps I sure was I couldnt just lay there and be in pain if the nurses telling me the only way to get rid of the gas is to walk so thas exactly what i did and I feel great. Even not eating has not been a problem. ohhh sipping sipping sipping is sooooo sicknin but you have to do it, so it feels like all day im watching the clock sipping its a job in itself. I just asked the nurse if I can get weighed I was 321 the morning I came to the hospital and today I am 316 heyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!! cant complain. ohhh and another thing that sucked is I was not suppose to have my period for like another 6 days after surgery and soon as i used bathroom after surgery my period was on SUCKKKKSSSSS, I really hate having my peried in here becaue you have to pee in this thing they call a hat in the toilet and call the nurse to flush it, who wants to pee blood into a container and leave it for someone to come see and dump, and I had to do that every time I used the bathroom. but no cathador no drain tube nothing needed. Thank you lord for a great surgery and thanks to everyone for all your prayers.

Well its 7:00 pm Aug 17,2011 and surgery is tomorrow  Im so excited and nearvous, I got everything i needed for post-op and laundry is done and house is clean, I have to go back to walmart because the timer that i bought does not work, but thas nothing to Jay(in my Jay Z voice lol). I only had to do a 3 day liquid diet which really havnt been that bad just a slight constant headach but nothing to write home about,  when I think about how I wont be able to eat for 7 more days after the surgery it gets me down a little bit, but then I think of me in those skinney jeans and I bounce back up again heyyyy. Friends have been calling and texing  to wish me luck, and prayers its so good to know that some people actually care. I love this website because I can talk about this surgery all I want and dont have to worry about people turning there nose up to me or just saying ohhh to everything. OH gotta love it

Today is August 4Th 2011, I just received a phone call from MVP my insurance APPROVING  my surgery, omgggg I'm so excited and happy . I went today and had my final blood work done and did my pre admission to the hospital, now its a waiting game. Actually I feel I can relax now and enjoy these last 2 weeks without worrying about my approval. I weighed 327 today, I wasn't supposed to be weighed but the scale was right there so I had too lol, down from 365 not bad on my own, but surgery will help those numbers look alot better.

Today is July 29, 2011 at 7:00 AM and I'm looking at profiles, as you can see I eat, sleep, and breathe this surgery. I love reading other peoples stories, and seeing there beautiful pictures. I had my first initial consult on May 17, 2011 where I weighed 365, I was told for my insurance I needed to loose 5% of my body weight (19lbs) under a 3 month diet, see a psych and nutritionist once, and get cleared by my doctor. I have done everything I needed to do and my current weight is 325. I have an appointment on the 4Th of Aug to have my labs done and get my pre anesthesia testing even though I'm still waiting approval from my insurance company (MVP), I know strange that I have my surgery date and have not yet been approved, that's how Dr. Grabers office does it, maybe there so confident they get people approved idk,  hopefully things go as planned and I"ll be on the table Aug 18,2011 celebrating my new birth day wish me luck,
