Sharon, WLS patients speak of our surgery day as our new birthday. My real birthday is tomorrow which makes me even more excited for your big day. I will be 11 weeks out tomorrow and have not regretted my decision even once. I am praying that your surgery is textbook and that your recovery is uneventful. Congratulations on making a brave and wise decision for your life.

Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else.
