Well, I have 3 days left before surgery. The nerves are starting to act up but not as bad as I thought that they would. I guess it is from feeling confident with my decision to have the surgery. My bags are already packed. I'll post again after I return from Mexico.

Well, I am finally 5 days aways from getting banded in Juarez, Mexico. As it is getting closer, I have been looking back on how I got so big. I am 5'5" and over 300 pounds. I was always big for my age. I guess the big thing that stands out is that everyone kept telling me that I had a pretty face and that I just needed to lose weight. As the years have gone by my weight has gone up & up. I rememeber when I hit 200 lbs and thought that was bad. I vowed that I would not see 300. But, look where I am. My knees are bad and my doctors and I have been trying to get my insurance to help.That ended no where. I good friend had the VSG a few months ago & she recommended that I look into it again. It was in Mexico and for a lot less money. The rest is history. Watch out world here I come!
