Finished up these appointments today and so glad they are done and over with.... now I just sit back and wait for Doctors office to call with a surgical date. I can't wait... I'm hearing that it will be the end of January or the beginning to February. I will update with any new information.

My sisters surgery is tomorrow

My sister will have her surgery tomorrow. I'm nervouse but so excited for her to start her new life. I love you little sister and I know that you will do great. I'm proud to have you as mine and can't wait to see what we both look like in a years time. You are my inspiration and I will love you forever. Thanks for being the most amazing sister! Good Luck tomorrow honey, we are all praying for you.
The Start of my Journey

Was in a car accident November 02, 2009. In the emergency room my blood pressure was 221/110 and I was completely freaked out. I know that I could have a stroke and I knew then that I need to change my life. I needed help and I knew that I need bypass surgery. My sister is sceduled for December 2nd... and I know I need this same procedure.
Well I've started my journey in the middle of November 2009. I attended several seminars and really liked the program with Dr. Spencer. I loved what he had to say and just know this is the doctor I want to do my surgery. So I will begin the process of beginning me new life with weight lost surgery.
I went to the seminar and was saddened that I would have to wait until february to have my initial doctor visit and was told I needed a referral immediately in case they call and get a cancellation.
I got the call for a cancellation 4 days after the seminar... I had to quickly change my insurance from tricare prime to standard so that that the doctor will see me. My pcp did give me a referral for Dr. Spencer, but they wouldn't approve it and want me to go to portsmouth naval. I switched to standard.
- very lucky to have had so many of the test already done.

colonoscopy
weights
chest xray
ekg
and everything else you need is done.
I have psychiatric and nutritionist appt on december 8th, 2009 and I have to go to the support group meeting on the 10th. I will also get a call from Diane and get my surgery date the week of dec 21st. very excited!
