<b> <font color= "Red"> I just received notice that Sheryl has been moved to ICU. I am so worried about her. Although I have not known her long, she seems like an amazing lady. Please pray for her! And for her parents, I know they must be so worried. They are with her. </b> </font>

Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Make sure you walk, and keep up your breathing exercise. YOU CAN DO THIS! See you on the other side.

<b> Pray for Sheryl - she is really having a rough day. They cannot get her blood pressure stabilized and it was running pretty low. She is having a lot of pain and every time she takes a sip of water it seems to sit in her 'stomach' and go nowhere until she burps it up.The doctor also told her the intestine which he attached to the stomach was atrophied after years of non-use and it still has not started to work. They discovered this when they took her down for a barium test. But her faith in Jesus is just as strong as ever. She is not complaining and when the nurses come in she is very pleasant and kind. Pray for a good night's sleep, ease from pain and that the intestine would start doing what is supposed to. </b>

Got News on Sheryl!! Her friend Nancy emailed me and put it so wonderful that I am just going to paste it here! "This is Nancy. They had just gotten her back to her room. She is pretty groggy and in a lot of pain. The doctor told us that he did reconstructive surgery on a prior intestinal bypass and that it looked good; he removed her appendix(guess they feel she needed to get her money's worth); made the litte pouch in her stomach; rerouted the plumbing from her stomach to her intestine(my words not his); did a biopsy on her liver - she has schrosis(I do not know the spelling of this and am too lazy to look it up in the dictionary) of the liver due to the prior surgery which vitamins should be able to reverse and repaired 2 hernias. All in all I think a large tanker truck ran through her today and as of this minute she probably feels like it. I left her mother there to give her that 'motherly tender loving care' and came to my computer to update everyone. Her mom and I were all there today. God graciously answered our prayer and brought her through surgery - Doctor said all went well and we know why. <p> Continue to pray for her since she is in pain and they will get her up tonight to go to the bathroom and to walk to the nurses station per Dr.'s orders. Should be home tomorrow but since he did so much reconstructive surgery there is a possibility she might be staying longer. I know she would thank everyone for your prayers and concern." I am so happy she made it, she has been in my heart all day! God Bless You Sheryl!
