Steve--- I don't post very often---but have read of the sadnesses happening in your family---- I am soo sad for your losses; and you are in my prayers. You do have a huge support here on this site-- and I really hope that helps you gather the strength to get through all of this---we never really get "over" the loss of the ones we love--we just get sort of "used to" living with the sadness and loss by our side. Steve and D, I am so sorry for the pain you are all going through........It's always harder on the one's that are left behind. Your Mother is in a great place and no longer hurting. Steve, my prayer for you is that you take time to grieve and to celebrate your Mom's life. There is no rush for either. I found my Mom the same way in 2004 and I miss her terribly, but I am still here and now able to encourage others.

I grew up hearing my great grandma saying "God never gives you more than you can handle". There have been times I have doubted it, but I still think it is true. You and D are so very strong for all you have endured and I know this is one more thing you will make it through. I am SO sorry you have had to go through all you have and wish I could make everything all better(the nurse in me). You know all of OH is here for you and those of us that are lucky enough to know you love you and will do whatever we can!!
