Sheri, I just read your profile. Don't get discouraged. This how hard it is for us pre-op to lose 20 pounds. It takes longer and usually ends up coming back. That's 20 pounds that's gone forever, and the pounds will just keep coming off, I've been told. I've read other profiles and you're not the only one who sometimes starts off slow. But I read where all of a sudden the weight starts coming off faster. I'm sure this will happen to you too, just hang in there. I'm pre-op (my date is May 15th), and I'm struggling with getting off the last 8 pounds I need to before my pre-op appt. on the 11th. No matter what I do, they just won't come off. I'm going to try to increase my exercise, because I'll have a fit if they tell me they have to move my surgery date after I'll I've been through to get here.
Hey chick, hope you are home today and doing well. I had a ruff Tuesday and Wednesday but finally feel a bit better yesterday and today. The air/gas was the worst. My back was killing me and then the gas pains started. I called Melinda and she said for me to take gas-x chewable or Phazyne liguid. I took the gas-x and it helped some. Hope to hear from you soon.
Sheri, Your BIG day is Tuesday!!! I know you are excited, scared and happy all at once! I will be thinking of you and praying for you! It's gonna be great! You are ALREADY such a beautiful person, and after this surgery you are gonna be TOO beautiful! Hang in there! It's worth it!
