Angel Kay, reporting in :) I am very glad to report that Sondras' surgery is finished. She had a small complecatin in that scar tissue was attached to the spleen and they had to remove the speen, but other than that she is doing very well. The surgeon has said that her outlook is very good. I spoke with Sondras wonderful and supportive mother Valene who were with her through the surgery. I will call Sondra tomorrow and update when I have spoken with her. Please take a minute and visit Sondras page and welcome her to the other side. I know she would appreciate it very much. Since I can't go through her site I will post her info here. Sondra Foster http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/status.phtml?N=F998619730 Her surgery was 10/25/01 (my 28th anniversary) Woo hoo Sondra, welcome to the other side. Love Kay

Hey sweetie! You are SO very fortunate to be having your surgery Thursday! You couldn't have a better angel than Pastor Kay, too. Dear heart, be at peace, let the LORD take your fears, your anxieties, your concerns. Remember, He cares for you, and so do we, ok? Lady, Kay will keep us posted on your progress, so keep the faith, and we'll see you on the ohter side of WLS! {{{{{{{Sondra}}}}}}}}

Alrighty then, let me try this Angel thing again, you would think A Pastor would have this down pat, but alas, not so. Anyway, Please bless our friend Sondra with your encouraging messages of hope and let her know you will be praying for her. She is a little frightened, but she will be fine. I called her today and she was on her way to the City with her mom and dad. Tomorrow she will have all her pre op tests and last meeting with surgeon. Thursday is her wonderful day in her new life. Encourage her please, she is such a wonderful person. God bless all you losers and I sure do "love your guts" Will Post for her tomorrow and day of surgery. Angel Kay

Hi Sondra, I had my surgery June 11th and am feeling wonderful! I put it off more than once out of fear, and as the old saying goes we have nothing to fear but fear itself. I breezed through the surgery and quite frankly am breezing through life right now. You will be just fine and I will remember you in my prayers....Fondly Grace

Sondra, I'll be thinking of you on your day. I hope that you were relaxed by all of the well-wishes that were sent your way. The worst will be over soon and you'll be losing that weight and running around with that wonderful son in a few months! Think thin thoughts ;) You're gonna do GREAT! BIG HUGS!!!
