 I met with my surgeon today (if I get approved). And I just thought he was the greatest!!!!! He answered the

 questions I wanted to know before I had the chance to ask him. I was in aww by everything he told me. Talking to him

helped me so much I was 99.9 percent sure I wanted the surgery now I am 100+ . He talked me through everything that
 
was gonna happen, explained the risk and gave me a idea of how much weight I should lose in a certain amount of time. I
 
have already cut out my sugars and my drinking during meals. I am so ready for this. I know I will be having the RNY (LAP)
 
so thats good I  have read that is less painfull. So I hope the next post that I do will say that I am approved. Wish me luck

I am so excited, this Friday I am gonna meet the man who is hopefully gonna change my life for the better. I have been
 
counting the days. I just hope and pray that I get approved.....I will update my page after I see Dr. Olsen. I am still gonna try
 
to talk him into the DS, but I will have the RNY if he dont think I qualify for the DS. Anyway you look at it I am on my way!!!!

 Well I had the flu and had to miss my February 12th appointment. I was crushed but I got my appointment
 
rescheduled to February 27,2009 and that is just a week away from now. I cant wait to get the ball rolling. I found out that

one of my OH friends was approved after 2 weeks and it made me so happy for her. I was also glad to hear that it didnt take
 
forever for her to get  her decision. I am looking forward to my visit to Nashville and I am proud to say that my husband is

supportive of me having the surgery now. Of coarse he is worried but he knows in the long run it is whats best for me. I am

that it will help me get off a ton of meds I have to take from day to day. I am looking forward to and am giddy about going

shopping and not crying for the first time in a long time. God willing it will all work out. I would like to thank everyone who the
 
time to give me advice without them it would have been alot harder to get as far as I am now. Friends are a wonderful thing

have and I am greatfull to all of you. Well I hope that my next update will be a good one.

It took awhile but I am gonna be at the siminar at the Centennial January 10!!!!!!! I am so excited everything is working out 

and my husband is finally behind me on this and not fighting me tooth and nail. Thats huge!!!! I am so excited and ready for

what ever comes my way.

I went back to see my pcp doctor and he checked my weight
 
loss for my 6 month diet plan. He is still trying to find a
 
loss surgeon who takes my insurance which is BCBS Tenncare.
 
Right now that's the big obstacle in my way. Hopefull by
 
next week I will have that appointment.

I went to a hypnotherapist this week for weight loss. I just thought I would try it. I
 
don`t feel any different but we will see.. Update........Didn't`t work... Big surprise....
