A New Year!!!

Jan 02, 2009

Happy New Year to everyone!!  What a year for changes 2008 was.  As of this morning here are my stats: 354 / 330 / 204.8 / 175 (highest 1/1/08 / surgery / current / goal).  I started logging my food again on Sparkpeople.com to be sure I don't over do it which somedays I feel I do.  I have also added Leslie Sansone 3 mile high intensity walk. I'll switch it up with the 2 mile walk of hers that I have been doing.  I started taking Bariatric Fusion supplements.  They are a chewable and they are great.  They have been created by a Bariatric Team in Buffalo NY as the only supplement needed after surgery.  The after taste is a bit off but I eat them in the middle of a meal it isn't the last thing I taste.  I am saving almost $60.00 a month using these.  If anyone has questions or would like more information checkout the website www.bariatricfusion.com.  Feel free to email me if you have any that I can answer I would be more than happy to.  If you ask they will send you samples and as with anything, check with your doctor.  That is how I originally heard about them.  Okay...enough of that.   I'm feeling really good.  Tried a chargrilled chicken wing...that's a no go.  It felt like a ate a rock!  Still don't do white breads, rice or pastas.  Do a few pretzels as snack and the crust of a really burnt piece of wheat toast or even a spoon of brown rice as part of a meal.  Other than that...protein, protein, and protein along with some veggies.  I am off all HBP meds and just taking my thyroid med.  Feeling good...but flabby.  I can deal with the flab as long as I have my health.  Take care everyone and thanks to my OH family that has helped me through all of this.  xo Sharon xo
