Hey Girl...I know your having a really hard time right now, after Pam's passing...but I know you will make the right decussion for you, I know how difficult it must be, but you will just have to put it in the hands of the Lord...and things will be fine. You are in my prayers for a smooth surgery and quick recovery...One week to go and you will be on the loosing side with Jen and I...and then we will make a date to spend at the beach together and really get to know each other!

Celeste - I am truly sorry to read about your friend Pam. I know you must have a million emotions running through your mind and I hope that you are able to stay strong for your upcoming surgery. It shook me up just thinking about what happened because I am pre-op, too. If you need a friend, I am here. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Celeste, I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. It has hit me hard. It's the first loss on this board since I had my surgery on 3-3-03 (I think)It's the first one I've read about in "real time". Bless her family, and you! I do know that if given the choice again, I would do it. I would rather have faced death than continue being obese. That is my personal feeling. I feel that obesity is a form of slow death anyway. Again, my feelings. Now, as for you having this surgery, it is YOUR journey and yours alone. If you can find some quite time each day try and silence the "what ifs" in your mind and listen to your heart's desire. Remember the statistics (which are low) for death also. I will send you peace from this evening forward until your surgery date. All my best wishes to you my dear!

Celeste, my prayers are with you. It is so hard to lose a friend. Please follow your heart, know that this is rare and that this surgery is a gift to us. I wish you the best and pray that if and when you have surgery, everything will come out fine. I will keep you in my prayers.
