Hi my name is Tamara Iam 38 years old and have a bmi of 40 I have 4 grandkids and I have custody of 1 of them.,I have been overweight for practical all my life I weigh 248 right now but myu highest weight has hit 320 before. I am in the process of trying to have a lap band surgery to get off of medications for hypertention and sleep apnea also Gerd acid reflux.I want to be able to play with the kids at play ground and do a lot of grandmotherly things with them that Iam not able to do now. I have did everything that my DR. who is Celio Burrowes in Georgia has required of me except Nutrition/diet.. and is schduled for that April the 15,2010.I am happy that I actually went through with it this time because 5 years ago I was doing research on this and my family was against it so I did not go through with it, now I am back 5 years later and is determine to do everything that I possibly can to make this successful for my health and my grandkids this time.My life is right now so peaceful because GOD is giving me a chance to make this work for me aand my family is my best support team and I also thank God for that also I love him because I know he will see me throughsuccessfully and safely God I Thank you again right now AMEN. But anyway if anyone would like to talk to me or support me you are more than welcome to be my friend because I need some bariatric friends to support me through this major life changing decision for my life.
