First post of the new year.   I am having my thyroidectomy on February 2nd.  I guess I will look like Jack the Ripper got ahold of me for a while.  Oh well.  Let's hope after this surgery it will be my last for this year.  I cancelled my appointment with the plastic surgeon for Monday.  I figure I am going to be doing so much with my thyroid that I can wait until after that is under control before seeing him.  I wouldn't mind losing another 10 pounds before having surgery anyway.  I have been hovering at the same weight for months, up a few down a few but that is okay with me.  I know if they took off all the extra skin it would be another 20 pounds so nothing may change until then.  I did buy a total gym and a nordic ab cruncher so hopefully getting into a routine on them will help with a little toning and tightening.
