Today I hit a milestone in my journey.....

Well, today I hit my100+ lbs weight loss since I began this incredible journey in October 2008 when I entered the Options Program @ Kaiser in Riverside, California.  I have lost 61+ lbs since my surgery date of 8/3/09 and I'm 5 lbs away from entering ONEDERLAND.  I'd love to hit this on my 6-month surgiversary date which is February 3, 2010.  The compliments come daily from co-workers, friends and family.  I am overwhelmed with such attention and at times uncomfortable with it, especially in a group.  I do okay with one on one compliments.  I don't really see myself as if I've lost this much weight, expect when I'm in the arms of my fiance, Marty.  I always knew overeating was only a symptoms of deeper emotional needs.  I am working on feeling my needs with healthy alternatives.  Life is to short to hang around toxic people.  My life is better than ever in so many ways. I know this is for life and will continue to work on and deal with emotional issues of overeating.  I long to walk this journey with all of you and share the ups and downs called life.  Love to you all and thank you for your support.  It means alot to me.
